Not a fan of Hall but the Sabres stole him from Montreal. Not sure if Montreal even had the money to grab him anyway.

I think the whole BS about wanting to play for a winning team is well, BS. This is a Barrie play. He gets to shotgun with Jack for huge minutes on a terrible team with no depth just like Barrie is banking on racking up 60 points on the Oilers PP. 1 year, hit 100 points with Jack, sign a mega 7 year deal with a winning team next year for $9.5M/7 years.

This is hilarious. $8m for Hall? That’s all? 1 year? Seriously?

If next years offseason is similar to this years the Rangers should be able to shore up major holes via UFA for cheap

So far, the guys I’m probably most disappointed in not seeing here based on their contracts are Clifford and Larsson. They would have really improved the 4th line for the next couple of seasons for a total of $2.4m.

Very interesting. Hall gets a shot to pad numbers with Eichel and try to cash in big again next offseason with hopefully a more normal operating environment.

Hopefully despite his success he still walks again causing Eichel to officially demand a trade.

So yes this is a #dominos signing

It became BS once COVID and revenue uncertainty ruined his market.

I cant blame him in the least for just taking the best money he could get and then try again next year when hopefully the market is more favorable to UFA's.

Even if Colorado came in at $7.5, he had to take the highest offer.

That $10 million between DeAngelo and Strome is way too conservative, as is $3 million between the other two.

IDK 2x5 for DeAngelo is realistic I think. It's only a problem if youre trying a long term deal.

Lemieux shouldn't get more than 1.5 or so. Georgiev maybe 2.
