But really, since they weren’t give QOs, Howden and Kubel at less than 2M combined is the kind of value on the 4th line that helps elsewhere.

there's a bevy of third and fourth line wingers out there now, almost too many... poor guys will likely end up in Arizona...

Not very many defensemen tho, a really weak class in that regard and not changing with the QOs.

Rangers could do a lot worse than to just get a few guys on one year minimum deals, or even two if the player will sign for cheap enough, and then just let things shake out. All of the talk is around the 2C position, but I still think this is asinine. You don't pay a winger 11.5 million if you need him to play with a center worth more than 2 or 3 on the open market, JMHO.

Meh, he’s 6’3 24 years old and had 9 goals and 20 points in 47 games last year. I hated him here, mostly because Quinn wanted him to lead the team in ice time, but he was physical let year, blocked 36 shots in 47 games and was 48% in the dot with room to improve. For a minimum contract he’d be fine.

Krejci coming back to Boston is 100 percent about resigning pasta. Boston basically fired their coach and are now making roster changes to convince pasta to stay. He was mad he never got to play w krejci and they are close friends. Sweeney is looking like such a clown show

Player Discussion - Sam Steel

Was catching up a little bit on him last month when they were talking about that new podcast, wondered what happened to that kid. If we we're young and rebuilding Steel would interest me but not where we're at right now. Seems like another guy that probably should have got some extra seasoning in the minors.

There is a way to fit Motte in there.

I think you can get Holtby and Braun to sign for less. Deal Hunt if needed. Get a 3rd team to retain some money on Patrick Kane.

Could ultimately end up with $2 million more in space to start the season, Keep Hunt, or sign another Vet.

EDIT: You got me. Did not realize what the Cap was changed to. Good for you.
