Sam Steel was not qualified. Hopefully Drury can scoop him or Colin White up as a checking center.
Lundell was a healthy scratch in game four against Tampa. Does that mean Anton is in trade talks?
Asking for a friend.

I heard he was a difficult personality in the locker room.ooooh that would be a nice add
The only way this potentially works is if the Rangers can get Kane at 25%.Strongly believe Malkin will be a NYR on Thursday. I can’t see any other realistic destination for him. Trade for Patty Kane and then you have one of the best lines of all time with Panarin-Malkin-Kane. Half serious
I’m 100% certain the Pens then sign Vinny Trocheck to replace him, he’s from Pittsburgh and a 2C. No better fit
They can if they get a third team like Anaheim involved...The only way this potentially works is if the Rangers can get Kane at 25%.
Insert Slats magician photoshop here
Pretty clear that all these rumors of guys getting $8M+ deals was coming from agents and only agents.Crazy amount of guy not getting QO's. The salary cap house of cards is starting to come down.

We'll see what happens with some of the bigger fish. It hits the middling players first. Fiala getting $8.5m was not a frugal start. By next year for sure, some of the bigger free agents will be getting stiffed.Pretty clear that all these rumors of guys getting $8M+ deals was coming from agents and only agents.
It's gonna be a rough week for a lot of these players.

This happens every year.
The league needs to do something about this Arizona loophole, such as abolishing the hard salary cap and raising the hard salary floor instead. He'll be bought out or traded to Arizona by year 4.
Honestly, it wouldn't shock me if some team gave him 4.I would be all for Eugene Malkin if it's 2 years at most, but some team will give him 3 I think.
And then they’ll beat us in the playoffs next year, because at this moment in time, Trocheck > Malkin.Strongly believe Malkin will be a NYR on Thursday. At least Chytil will get the chance to be the 2nd line center that everyone is hoping for when he does.If you like Chytil missing games to injury, you’re gonna love Malkin. Dude is a lock to miss 20+ games.
That's a big no from me, dawg. And then they’ll beat us in the playoffs next year, because at this moment in time, Trocheck > Malkin.
The only negative with Malkin is the injury history. If he's healthy he's gonna be productive. That's a big no from me, dawg.
Some people are seriously underrating Malkin somehow.
He just scored at an 84 point pace and would have been the best 5v5 play-driver on our team (and yes, better in that regard that Trocheck). That's ho hum for Malkin. His floor is our best forward.
