The picks used in an offer sheet have to be our picks.
well carolina has our 2nd so I'm sure they would be happy to trade that pick back to us so we can offer sheet their best player lol
The picks used in an offer sheet have to be our picks.
Is it 12 noon Monday UFAs can start signing?
Which brings up the other possibility, a trade. Anybody have any realistic trade ideas that would make sense? If Kreider, lias, and Vesey interest them, or others, gotta consider it and forget Panarin .We traded a conditional 2020 3rd round pick to Carolina as part of the deal for Fox. If Fox plays 30+ games this season, it becomes a 2nd round pick.
Because of that, we can't give an offer sheet where the compensation would include a 2nd or 3rd round pick. We would need to work something out with Carolina first to get that pick back. That would be some next level dirty pool. Make a trade with them to get the pick back then use that pick to steal their star player.
Performance bonuses cannot be used in that manner. Anything that requires 'work related stipulations'.Sorry, not sure I am understanding. I that would have thought that a signing bonus is a signing bonus. Ok. None of us can answer that, but am betting that it is not that simple as otherwise why wouldn't each NHLer who is due for large UFA contract simply declare Florida residency?
And how is Florida signing the other 6 players to fill out their roster with 1m in cap space?
Rangers don’t get hit on that cause they are retaining some ?
Does this mean our hard stop for Panarin is now 11.85 million?
Panarin is fait accompli...will the off season of all off seasons finish in a flourish?Kreider for Dvorak or bigger add Brady to TML for WN?
I’m sure Lee is feeling very loved.
