Looking at Arizona's roster I'm surprised there are so few great pieces. Last summer some people on HF had them (and Fla) rated higher than us. Some teams have lost for years and still have little to show for it.

Does anyone care that we are letting Hrvik walk?

i think the comments were misleading about "won't re-sign Hrivik" "letting Hrvik walk",
he is full UFA, NYR have no particular rights beyond exclusive negotating for another week
i always expected that, if he didnt go Europe, he'd try a different team
but with Oscar gone, if NYR can resist a Stoll-type signing, he could have fit in as 4C

Agreed, but I think it's Boyle that comes back.

WHere has NYR confirmed Hrivik is not coming back?

I'm telling ya, Hamonic to Colorado.

Didn't Hrivik say several months ago that he wasn't coming back?

He was going into the summer as a UFA anyway. To me he can compete on the NHL level but there really isn't much upside other than a 4th line checker. He is nowhere near where Lindberg is as a player--so if he is anybody's idea of a replacement for Lindberg then that 4th line is taking a step back.
