Regarding the absurd notion that Stepan is not a no 1 center.

To those that believe he is not, go back the last 5 seasons and post 30 centers with better numbers

He may not be a sexy #1 guy, but make no mistake, he is a #1 center in the NHL

He's a number one Center absolutely but he's a number one Center that scares no one offensively or in the face off dot.

What's the issue with domi and diabetes? Doesn't Kessel have diabetes? Never held him back

Cory Conacher is the only other recent NHLer I can remember with Diabetes.

Kessel and Saku Koivu both had cancer.

I didn't know this, but Bobby Clarke, Toby Peterson, Nick Boynton, and BJ Crombeen were/are also diabetics.

The guy came on here recently and said that he doesn't have NYR sources anymore.

That doesn't mean that he can't hear NYR rumors through other channels or that he didn't have sources at one time, but hes been punching at air for a long while now.

He was right about Kovalchuk but nothing before or after that. I believe he was based in NJ so the Kovalchuk-NJD story likely was derived locally. This board goes into a frenzy when there's any news so he's mostly used the kovy story to post a 5-6 tid bits of information every once in awhile ever since hoping to get something right. He yelled at everyone telling them he was right about Stepan's contract and everyone should be "grateful" for his information when everyone on either side of the Hudson river knew it was going to be $6M-$6.5M long term plus Larry wrote an article on it. That's kind of when I assumed he's just punching at air like you said.

A random tweet from a nobody who was out to troll about the 1st round pick yesterday and people started getting angry that we traded away another 1st round pick, which is exactly the goal of the guy who was trolling, making fun of NYR's lack of 1st round picks. The discussions are entertaining but it's also annoying when someone is intentionally rope a doping the board or straight up trolling.
