While we're at it....how about Kreider+Miller+Stepan+Lundqvist+Skjei+Zibanejad+5 years worth of 1st round picks for Trouba.

Sounds about as realistic as some of the stuff I'm reading here....hah

Lol at everyone complaining because the flurry of moves hasn't happened yet.

Guys, there is 24 hours until the rosters freeze. Bet on most of the activity happening between 12-3 tomorrow.

I don't think anything is happening with MIN and the NYR. What would you deal for Coyle? They have expansion issues so wouldn't they need picks or prospects that are exempt? A deal centered around say a Stepan-Coyle shake doesn't work for MIN I think.

Would need someone exempt from expansion. Maybe a deal centered around vesey? Minnesota has enough depth at center that they could take a winger

Vesey is going nowhere. They would never land a college UFA again. Hayes, Gorts and Drury went all out to get him. Hayes would be livid. Wouldn't look good for the NYR plus I like Vesey a lot and think he showed signs of a 50+PT wing this year.

You guys are aware that both Coyle and Granlund primarily played wing last year right?

I know that doesn't mean that they're unable to play center, but clearly they're more effective away from the dot.

Fair enough. I got nothing then. Maybe gorts can get creative

Yup, but I'd still love to have one of them. Believe coyle could be great at center with the right linemates

Minnesota has a few really nice forward prospects. They won't have room for all of them with the forwards they currently have. Erkssson-Ek, Tuch, Kunin. They already have Staal, Parise, Coyle, Niederiter, Granlund, Zucker, Koivu, Haula as longer term players. White and Stewart as short term guys. If they add Stepan, losing one of the younger guys isn't a huge deal
