Yeah this is more or less what I was getting at.. If you get a deal too good to turn down you take it now. If not, no rush, he might not be a "household name" but if he's putting up another close to PPG next season he will still have value to playoff teams (which as mentioned above could be us which then we might lose him for nothing)

I don't get all the complaining. Our bottom-6 was garbage last year. We have the top-end talent to make the playoffs. We don't have the depth. Goodrow is part of a solution to that problem.
Should they just keep going with bargain bin signings or prayers that our prospects develop into quality grinders or should we overpay by half a million and build out a quality team?
