All moved in, but feeling like I live in a distribution center. Boxes everywhere. Picked up the sister-in-law from the airport yesterday so she can help my wife set-up shop.

Plastic containers were a massive life changer for me the last time I moved.

Where you living at now?

I have to be careful about how I say this because I don't want to out my sources, but let's just say his head and his torso are no longer one. You know the Spice Girls song "2 Become 1"? Basically the opposite of that.

that’s good enough for 1/3 of the posters here. Ironically, with real estate booming people are buying houses without inspections. Go figure

Yes they are and it's dumb. Buyer beware. I work for a real estate investment firm and we never buy a property without an inspection. If the sellers refuse we walk away, just like the Rangers should.

Delaying the inevitable
Yea I’d be out if they’re not letting anyone see the records. You can’t commit 10M of cap to a guy who will likely never be back to that level of play. This would be a dumber move than the Beaves contract after his concussion.

What are the sabres trying to accomplish by hiding the medicals? Them delaying the trade benefits nobody involved

Eh, the medical records thing doesn’t bother me as much as the rest of you. Of course you don’t share sensitive info like that (I’d characterize the medical records of ANY player, healthy or otherwise as sensitive) until you are in the ballpark for something workable. At least, IMO.

That said, if I’m the Rangers and I get into that ballpark and then am not happy with what I’m seeing, I have no qualms about saying, “Yeah, no, imma need to pull X from that offer.”

Wife and I just moved back to NJ from Los Angeles 3 weeks ago...distribution center is a great way to put it.

Really curious to Sabres game plan here… I doubt Eichel will get traded mid season & it’s getting risky if they wait till next off-season when his NMC kicks in. Although… I think they have a little time after the season before it kicks in yeah? Maybe waiting for his surgery/no surgery and do it in that time period? Or are they just going to tell Eichel to f*** himself and he’s signed so he’s staying?

@Edge - any insight into whether or not Larkin is still in play?

I believe he potentially is, yes.

I think Detroit's hopes of landing a top 2 pick in the draft are kind of in a holding pattern right now though.

If they can't land what they want now, Larkin potentially becomes a prime candidate to move at the TDL if the believe is still that they'd like to turn him into multiple assets. Yzerman has made it clear what he'd consider, and if it's not out there I think he's perfectly willing to wait.

The only reason to do so logically is if they think releasing the records would decrease his value- hence, they are truly bad.
