I am ok with something around Giordano for Strome as a basis, but there needs to be more to it. Seattle needs to retain. Maybe that will happen, who knows.

But I am not too interested in having Blackwell back.

Why would we care about retaining on a one year deal? We have plenty of cap space. Even if we add Eichel.

I'm pretty sure if the trade is Strome for Giordano that Seattle is retaining some money, both might be UFAs but a center is more important than a 37 year old Dman I think.

If that's the deal it has to be seen as part of an overall roster overhaul. But I doubt very much it will be Strome for Giordano straight up with no extras to balance it out.
