Okay then, I am more than okay with this. I'm guessing a first rounder is involved somehow, either the Avs' or the one they got from the Habs...or both, it doesn't matter.

Much as I harp on this a little too much, Avs have now gone from one of the very worst faceoff teams in the league to (projected) one of the best. But that to me is a huge add.
 
UFA in a year might bring the price down
I would hope with they get a multi-year deal in place. I think I read he is RFA with arbitration rights, which is one reason Tampa was moving him. They're cap-strapped.
