Opponent feed is better again?

Play by play guy is trying really hard to sell us $165-$500 tickets to watch a bottom 5 team with no game breaking prospect.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Tourigny ends up on the first pp wave in Laval
Very impressed with his play. I don't exclude him when shitting on the team so far, but he's been good.

No idea why the Habs didn't invite his brother, or Mazden Leslie. Yeah, they also have question marks defensively, but at least they produce over some of the d invites who might be slightly better d while providing significantly less offense.

Big shot by Mailloux. Not afraid to shoot, that's for sure.

I think Roy can be a good complimentary top 6. That's about it for today.
Yeah , I totally agree , I actually think we have some pretty good complimentary players who can make the NHL. You'd just like to see some play driving out there against guys their age

To be fair, they do have a lot of guys between 18 and 22 in the NHL. Any of Caulfield, Dach or even Newhook could become game breakers. And one could argue that their best prospect is in college.

Bouncing pass, but nice sight by McKay(?) To get it across.

Or is it Mackay ? Either way, for a guy viewed as a tough guy to help protect the young guys good vision.

Habs have sucked for a while and collected picks.

They traded them to bolster the main team to speed up the rebuild a bit, but there should be more.

For good forward prospects the Habs aren't missing any because they're in another league already playing.

This team shouldn't look this bad and uncoordinated. That pp they had sustained pressure. It was a little sloppy, but they got it.

Maybe that guy who said Guindon was better than Roy was right. :sarcasm:

Every time they go to those tournaments the team gets spanked, I don’t remember the last time they won a game in a setting like this one.

Roy is definitely the player the with the highest offensive potential in that forward group, even though I believe Beck is the best forward. His smarts and ability to position himself in open ice will be a huge asset along the way. But he isn’t that dynamic offensive player.

Although I appreciate most of Chester’s takes, I don’t see Guindon ending up better than Roy. Guess time will tell. I just wish he had his chance with better line mates. It’s hard to show things when you are playing down the line up. Guindon is good around the net but the puck needs to end up there.

Roy can handle any type of puck coming at him; In the air, bouncing, backhand, between feet...anything he absorbs and makes the right play in a split second.

I'm liking Miller more than Dobes, but it's just one game.
