I agree with this recap. What's interesting is the "mayor's" game recap just hyped up shore and basically implied zykov was invisible outside of one scoring chance. I was wondering if he was actually watching the same game.

Being invisible when you are creeping around the net looking for a pass/rebound is a good thing... no?

I am surprised Auger played so well, he did all the things he doesn't do in the JR game. Used his size, made contact, battled for pucks....I was watching him thinking "Who the hell is this guy"

McKeown can skate, kid has great skating. I expected more from Ebert, he was kinda just there.

How good does McKeown look? Obviously nowhere near Doughty at that age, but is he anywhere near Voynov (at that age) Martinez (at that age?)

I know because of the OHL agreements he can't, but in theory...is he good enough for Manchester?

So Zykov should be a third or fourth line guy or a healthy scratch? Those guys have a purpose to serve with the roles they play. Zykov should be a top six forward, and there isn't room for him there (yet).
