I wonder if Rod separated Turbo and Aho intentionally because he knew they would create things offensively and wanted to hold it in his back pocket for as long as possible?

Kinda like the perfection line now that jarvis really seems to be in sync with them.
There might be something to that. I wonder if he has the same approach to putting slavin and pesce together

I think he knew it was always an option to reunite them if they needed a spark and they would likely pick up right where they left off.

The idea was to spread out the scoring and use Teravainen to spark Trocheck's line.

Trochecks like seems to have had issues getting going all year long. Weve all assumed it was wing related but maybe it could be trocheck himself?

Thats kind of why I wouldn't be upset to see him go.

Yeah, but Troch also has 3 G and 7 points in 8 playoff games. One point less than Teravainen, who is leading all forwards in points (and tied with Slavin+TDA). I think Troch has been great this playoffs. Regular season Troch was 51 points in 81 games, which is very solid production and about what you'd expect from a 2C. The whole thing for me is Troch is very good but not irreplaceable, and if he gets more than $7.0M on the market his value goes way down. He does make a few boneheaded plays but for me he makes up for it and I thought he was one of our best forwards in game 1.
