Yeah. I just checked the link as well. I'm a really open minded and artistic person, but Holy Domed Turd Fest Batman. Maybe they should start by updating most of Alberta Avenue (aka 118th).

And apparently it will cost the City of Edmonton nothing. Yeah, nothing but a loss of respect. :shakehead

Anyone know if there is any sort of individual seat view (even if it's just a simulated version) to check out views from seats? I have tickets for the Sens/Oilers game at the end of October. Think I'm in section 220 row 1.

As ridiculous as it sounds now, Baccarat was as good as casinos got in Edmonton when it opened. As was the original location for the Palace Casino in West Edmonton Mall.

When it opens I'll wander over and take a look. Tough to judge fairly when they are still in the midst of construction. But whoever said online judgments were ever related to fairness? :sarcasm:

Sounds about right.

Besides, how many 'special events' is Gretz supposed to come back for. I could see considering offering him the honour if he lived in the area, but flying in just to be the among the special first skaters?

They made a point to show Gretzky and Mcdavid as the last to ever touch Rexall Ice, I'm sure Mcdavid will be the special skater and maybe some alum will be in the next group, this is the Oilers ...

They will probably reveal the Gretzky statue in the new location then him and McDavid go for a skate.
