Love Kisakov's backcheck to disrupt what should've been one of the few odd-man breaks they've given up tonight.

I like that they haven't given up the heavy doses of odd-man rushes tonight.

But they have had a couple of shifts where their inability to move the puck crisply has left them getting punked in their own zone. Charlotte picked up 6 shots on a single shift a few minutes ago. They are still small and have a hard time generating finesse goals from moderate range when the goalie isn't doing whatever the starter did on the Amerks second one tonight.
 
Subban had a great game. Amerks got up 3 - 0 early and then kind of coasted. It happens. Fun game! I really enjoy games at the Bojangles Coliseum.

I don't know if Bojangles is a thing in buffalo. Buffalonians and Rochafarians, would you like all of your food served on a biscuit? Breakfast, lunch dinner and dessert. It's something Virginia/Tennessee has not convinced me to do.

Yeah I'm not a Bojangles fan and I've lived down here since 2005. Definitely overrated in my opinion.

Honestly, chik fil a is where it's at but there's politics back home I guess. Easily the best sandwiches if you have to do fast food. Greensboro is a cool town and blowing up so you've got options. Once the casino expands here in Bristol I'm hoping more options open up. Food kinda sucks here - except the place I run 😉

Same - I love Chik FIL A breakfast.

Food options are eh - definitely miss the food in Buffalo. I've become a pretty good cook both because I enjoy it but also out of necessity. Didn't know Bristol was getting a casino but I think Danville is getting one and that's under an hour from here. Incidentally the best food in NC is in Huntersville, NC - Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria. Between the Blue and Blue Light on tap, the chicken finger subs, the pizza with Margherita pepperoni imported from Buffalo, and the Beef on Weck it's the real deal. Best wings in NC and it's not even close.

As an aside, I miss Ham's in Greensboro. I understand that the closed all their locations. Best chips I've ever had.

Are you planning on attending tonight or is one 90-minute trip down 85 enough for your weekend?

Ham's went WAY downhill the last couple of years.

I'm hanging with my Buffalo Boys in Greensboro tonight for the Bills game while I keep an eye on the Sabres game on my phone. Otherwise I may have just stayed overnight in Charlotte. But I'm going to the Sabres - Lightning game in Buffalo next Friday and then both an NTDP USA U17 game and a Motor City Rockers FPHL game the following week in Detroit so my wife and I are getting our fill. 😁

Yeah, I hadn't had their stuff since the 2000's and the last of my friends still in G'boro had mentioned things were no longer the same. I did stop at my favorite Vietnamese place on my way through to WNY two summers ago - Pho Hien Vuong - Vietnamese & Thai Cuisine

I will have the Sabres game on one screen, the Bills on another and then toggle option muted will be the Amerks.

That place is good. I'm not even much of an Asian food fan and I really like that place. Not too far from me either. Best Mexican in Greensboro is right near there - El Camino Real.

I used to live in that neighborhood - around the corner if you go down Westgate from Market.

I liked walking through that neighborhood when I lived there. Love the park. Haven't been in 20 years though so just rep - if it has gone up or down in that time it was not to any of my doing. :D

As for tonight, I have to figure out how to get the Bills, Sabres, Bandits and Amerks games on... and increase my AHDH meds so I don't just watch one.

You didn’t miss anything. Until that goal it’s been a low event game with all calls heading the other way
