Subban was excellent early and then never gave up anything questionable. The scorers scored, the checkers played strong defensively for the first and third, and they were desperate. Getting the first goal again helped.

Agreed. The 2nd period was rough. I think they need to clean it up a bit to have a chance. They can't rely on Subban to be that good every night. Still, maybe this is a momentum builder? Regardless, there are no moral wins or immoral losses. This is the playoffs. Just live to fight another day!

Are the Amerks still undefeated when Kulich registers a point?

I know they have some ridiculous streak in elimination games.

Kulich the new Matt Ellis principle?

I love AHL goaltending.

Excuse me, according to Hershey announcers he is the second coming of Hasek.
Watching that clip, I can't decide whether that's a surprisingly quick and well-placed snipe by Kulich (which it appears to be), or a delayed reaction by Shepard (which it also appears to be). The "chicken vs. egg" dilemma finds its way into the Calder Cup!!

Unless that was going over 100 mph, he should have stopped it from where it was shot from.

Sheppard seemed wildly out of position to me. Kulich has a cannon, but I put a lot of the goal on Sheppard giving too much net to shoot at.

Great spot for Kulich to shoot, though. Those shots between the pad and the blocker are tricky for goalies.

Those f***ing broadcasters are obnoxious. Amerks were "hanging on" all game, according to them. I thought it was pretty balanced back and forth with the exception of a rough second period. It's AHL level broadcasting, so i set the bar low but they still failed to clear it.
