Look where this puck is
2023-05-25 20_56_59-Rochester Americans @ Hershey Bears 5_25_23 - YouTube — Mozilla Firefox.png

It's in the netting outside of the post, then the entire net then shakes and the puck trickles back and to the left.

The only way that goes between the pipes is by deflecting off Subban, but there's no sound of it hitting equipment and the puck isn't slowed down at all. That puck can't get there from the angle it was fired at.

I've watched that goal a dozen times from the last angle they showed and it really doesn't look like it went between the goal posts.
Thought the same my first five times seeing it, but I think it ricochets off Subban's right hip and into the net where your screencap is. You can see him react immediately after like he knows he left two inches off the post and that's exactly where it went.

I went back to look at it too and can't tell. It went in but what it went through, I'm unable to ascertain.

The puck came from the bottom of the circle, hit the left side of the net, traveled backwards, then through subbans right elbow, and into the net.

That is one magic puck

I don't know. I wish youtube had a frame by frame. I'd like to go back one frame from there - there's no evidence that I can tell of the puck being in the net until after the mesh moves.

Tough game for Savoie so far. Not sure what you can expect from him, but he just hasn’t found any sort of rhythm or comfort yet. All it takes is one shift though.
