He was an OHL official and I offered him my glasses over the glass at a game in Niagara Falls back in the early '90's. It got a little heated. "Here, you need these more than I do" didn't sit well with him.

Yeah, he was terrible to everyone as an official. I had a co-worker who was in the officiating program with him at the time who didn't have anything nice to say about him either. He had an ego.
