Don Stevens: "Somebody shut that guy up"
(regarding Crunch announcer/screamer)

In the games I've watched, I can't say I like Clague. Seems like he tries to do too much.
 
Amerks all over the Crunch early in the 3rd but nothing to show for it yet.

I like Davies a lot more. Priskie too though he's out tonight.

And Stevens is NOT a fan of that in-arena PA guy.

Okay, THAT was a shitty goal to give up UPL. First weak goal he's yielded this year IMO but what a stinker.

And now Laaksonen takes a bad penalty. That will probably do it for this one.

Crunch exploited turnovers for multiple goals. Clague looked Hab tank commander level of poor tonight. Not sure why Priskie didn't play and why Tischke left early.
 
They should consider moving Kisakov up in the lineup. He seems to generate chemistry with linemates quickly, and outside of newly coming Kozak-Kulich, the rest is currently sparse.

It also is working with Jobst and Cederqvist though. They sort of can just roll all four lines.

I do. But I’ve also targeted those players as available in that round. But I’m not gonna hold that against a player the Sabres draft. Plus we might get a steal, like Mats Lindgren who I had wanted with the Florida 1st or our 2nd, but we got in the 4th.

Strong is my personal impression having watched all the games thus far. I feel like he's only let in one clunker (late in the Syracuse game IIRC) and has been left out to dry too much because of the way the whole team plays. For example Clague forked over a couple of prime chances to the other team - hitting the tape of someone in stride right in the slot is just so infuriating. :biglaugh:

Michkov plays in VHL, which is better than any junior league, as experienced players play there along with young ones. But I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't chosen in the top 3.
