Nah, it's on Kevyn. The expectation clearly was one of Reimer/Levi down there, but they had to expect there was a good chance Reimer wasn't going to clear waivers.

Leone on tonight's game:



Didn't know the history about Vogelhuber and Leone as junior teammates and of course Chris Bergeron who was momentarily on staff in Buffalo this summer I knew.

- Kozak to the wing with Helenius and Rosen to get him more TOI, praises his 5-on-5 play and the need to get him more opportunities on the ice to get that sort of puck pursuit and net jam.
- Nadeau draws in, calls him "one of our best practice players" and talks up how they need to get to harder areas more which is of course Nadeau's game.
- Thinks the PP is doing some things well which sounds like the company line from the big club as well. I know in what I've watched, they've had opportunities but failed to convert. Feels like they miss Mersch with the two-man net presence and off-post backdoor play as an option. (And of course Rosen-Kulich for the one-timer hookups isn't the same with Kulich up).
