Dunne gets called for diving but they send the Lindstrom who was hooking him too.

And Novikov just misses on two great chances - one he set up, one he had and swept into the side of the net.

Twice on the PP Rathbone has snapped a pass through the Laval diamond right to the leftwing half-wall and both times it surprised the Amerk receiving the pass (Dunne first, Wahlberg second).

Amerks get a 2nd late PP and the first unit is just unable to generate much of anything despite being in the zone almost the entire 2 minutes. Helenius had a great chances in front but the rest of the time they kept themselves wide and outside. I would prefer Metsa or Rathbone as the PP1 QB. They get shrinking the diamond.

ROUSEK ON THE BREAKAWAY!!! WOOOOOOO.

2-1 OT win, Dobes and Levi were both excellent, though I'd give Dobes the edge in terms of quality saves. He kept them in it.

The Amerks controlled the puck for most of the OT. I did not like Clague extending his shift twice when he could've changed late - he was on for the GWG and had spent nearly 2 minutes on the ice by my reckoning. They rotated through six or seven forwards in that span, with the puck in the Laval end or on the Laval half of the ice the entire time.

Levi needed this game though. He started a little shaky but had a couple of great saves in the back half of the game.

This is the 2-on-1 stop -

Once again, the North Division is just murderous - six of seven teams are .571 or better with Laval leading the way at .833. Five are .600 or better. Absolutely nuts.
