Had only seen the Kulich goals from last night so I decided to watch the highlights. I wanted to pay attention to the GA.

JFC Power! Could you be any softer?

I would so much rather they trade Private Pile.
Would you be actively shopping him, or only trade him if a player like EP was available? Has it really got that bad with him. Sorry for my ignorance. Havent watched in a while :(

Edit: nvm. I read further down the read. It appears youre over him, haha.

What was your problem with him on the first 2 goals? the first he didn't leave the man alone screening the goalie and the second was some weird bounce. Unless you expected him to layout McCarron when he didn't have the puck.

I rely a lot on the nuanced analysis of individual players that you guys so often give to shape my opinion of how they are developing, given that you have such an in depth understanding of the game and all its intricacies.

It's of no help to me at all when you sit on the fence and don't commit one way or the other.. ;)

Yeah, I have reached the end of my rope with him. The passing and outlets are top notch but it has gotten to the point that his teammates should be collectively punching him in the face every time he's late to the slot to cover his man.

It's basic stuff too, things he should be able to do instinctively due to repetition at this point. Maybe because I was a hack and had to get by on effort and being committed to being responsible that makes me wonder how someone paid that much can be that disengaged from getting better at the basics of his position.

But yeah, I've reached my limit with him.

We've all had coworkers, family members, even spouses / partners, who were stellar at an aspect of their persona / craft / life (for which we typically became enamored with them) and yet were nearly utterly devoid in certain other aspects which maddened us because either unnecessary extra or impossible efforts from us were required because of their deficiencies. (In some regards, such a situation/reality led to the end of my first marriage.) I appreciate and enjoy Power's puck movement and exits. With equal appreciation and enjoyment, I'd rather Clifton defend the crease, recognizing he can't compare to Power in puck-carrying prowess. The differences are that stark.

Edit: Glad they won last night. If I was Kulich, I would have given Rayzor the puck from his GWG. Just because.

I've seen more willingness to engage physically from middle- aged women in my rec soccer league. Wish it was exaggeration

I'm not as done as you but it's pretty frustrating to watch
