So if anyone thinks LFC got favorable officiating today, i think you are completely fair to think that way. But I also this this ref was just a shambles in general. LFC def had some luck today, but sometimes you need some luck. Bournemouth is very very good

Arsenal would win the league if they fired Arteta and replaced him with Iraola.

LFC should just not mess around and find a way to get Kerkez in.

Thought the Jones/Bradley subs saved the game. Salah did what Salah does. And Alisson showed why he is up there with any other keeper in the world

Very impressed by Bournemouth. IMO it would be a dissapointment if they are not in the CL next year, they have the quality.

I have no words on Huijsen, what a beast. Kerkez was also possessed, maybe he was fighting for an audition to be a LFC player next season. All their players put the effort and they could have won that game.

For LFC, every game is a final, you have to already forget that game and go with the right mentality into the next one.

I think Kerkez is the only (relatively) available player LFC could get that improves their Starting XI immediately. I would find a way to make that happen before the end of the window. I’d love Huijsen but he isn’t coming here to be a back up. Would be crazy if Virgil walked and he was the Virgil replacement? Bournemouth just have so many fun players. Love their balance, love how they are managed. I’ve got a soft spot for them because I saw them at Anfield but they are absolutely legit

Actually Pool is after Cherki and IMO he instantly makes your starting XI better.

Huijsen would get lots of game-time. Konate will inevitably get hurt, Van Djik could rest more, Gomez might go this time (he deserves to start elsewhere), and Quansah isn't there yet. Could they buy and then loan him back to Bournemouth?

I see Chelsea being all over him so we'll see.

Re: Kerkez, not sure he fits. He's an improvement, yes. But if Trent leaves, Bradley will take Trent's spot and Bradley plays more direct up and down the pitch than Trent. From what I have seen of Kerkez, he also likes to get up and down the pitch. I don't know if Slot needs both his fullbacks to be doing that. I could see him wanting his LB to sit back a bit more and have possession (especially if Bradley is the advancing fullback). Maybe some like Hato is a better fit for that?

We aren’t anymore and don’t think he makes the XI better. We need Szoboszlai’s running too badly. Slot also seems to like a more physical #10. (Jones getting a lot of time there). Obviously doesn’t start on the right either. Think we’ve moved onto a different younger CAM target (for the summer). And last I heard he was going to Dortmund. Not saying I would not take him though

Lol no. How quickly people forget that Arsenal won the most games in club history last year.
I said what I said. I stand by it. Iraola opens them up and they turn a lot of those draws into wins. And I don’t think you have to sacrifice much D.

But like Iraola on like Tottenham Would be such a waste. He can and should get a better job.

And he gets a ton of shit but Richard Hughes made the two best manager hires of the last two years

I could see that too but honestly I’d just get rid of Robertson and Tsimikas and sign both of them. You’ve got the PL ready guy and then you can see Hato in while giving him some minutes at CB too. I think that’s kind of the way forward. Another LB that fits with Bradley, and that we know that Slot likes, is Miguel Gutierrez from Girona, but who knows if CFG will sell to us

Pool wants him this summer but Lyon needs the money now, hence the BVB move.
There is no better 10 than Cherki in Europe since the season started.

Cherki is great. Cherki is also not going to cover the pitch when Mo Salah does Mo Salah stuff. Just not the right player for LFC right now, unless they did a big, unnecessary, tactical shift. And he’s probably going Dortmund anyway.

They would have to build around him like Chelsea built around Cole Palmer. We aren’t going to do that

I mean, good players at somewhat of a cut rate are worth buying. The club could always use more of those. I don’t know that he would step in and take a spot day one, but he would be good for the squad. I also think if LFC really wanted him, having to buy now wouldn’t be an issue.

I do think they’re waiting to see what comes of the renewals and where they have to invest before getting much of anything.
