I really like Bo. I would definitely use him in a trade package to significantly upgrade our forward group if possible; but if that can't happen then I'm happy to extend him and keep him as a Sabre.
I would so much rather they trade Private Pile.

Way, way, way back in the dark ages you described the event as something like Audette feeding him like he was some sort of punching automaton. Made me nostalgic.I wanted to circle back around to one of the quotes from Ray during the ceremony about Donald Audette. There was a game where Ray tangled with Domi a couple of nights after Domi had made the heavyweight belt gesture after winning a fight with Bob Probert and Ray won the fight, and Donald had his own tilt with somebody who was about 6 inches taller than he was. And he beat the shit out of Ulyanov, one of the defenseman from Winnipeg. His hand was like he was cranking a siren. But the point of impact was Ulanov’s face over and over and over again. He was super pointy just like how Danny would be in the 2000s, but he was capable of beating people up who took him to be just another small, skilled French Canadian...
Here's where I disagree, I don't think Byram can run his own pairing and do well but he is great with our best player..I would so much rather they trade Private Pile.

I think Owen can hold down a second pairing on his own and do quite well once we get him a partner that isn't total dog shit.
Yeah I'm waiting for his Hedman light bulb moment and he showed flashes earlier in the season but looks like it didn't come to fruition. The kid can’t defend. That’s his first job. He’s f***ing terrible at it. I’m tired of waiting for him to arrive. There is no fight in that dog. None. And I don’t need him to be a hitter or a fighter. I just need him to show some basic core competencies about urgency getting to the net, tying his man up, denying peoples hands in around his goalie. He’s f***ing horrible at it. I’ve rarely seen a defenseman who’s so inept at the most basic parts of his game. It’s f***ing embarrassing. He should be ashamed.

Hope we can get a coach who can truly unlock him.
Will be interesting to see if KA pivots to something like that next. Wonder how M.Pettersson (extended) and Power would pair up.Here's where I disagree, I don't think Byram can run his own pairing and do well but he is great with our best player..

He may get it someday but sabres don't have time to wait for it, you can only hope you get something decent because some other team thinks they can fix him. The cap news should help with that, but Adams would have to pull the trigger and not sit on his hands.I don’t think prime Larry Robinson, coaching him would unlock any defensive light in that guy. I’m so through with him. And it’s not even having a partner to groom him or cover for him. We saw what twice tonight where he’s late getting to the front of the net despite the fact that his partner is already there and engaged. He lets people get out manned at the most important place on the ice. I have no idea what’s going on inside of his head other than Kumbaya. What he’s missing has to come from within. And I don’t think it ever will.
Byram plays better than Power when he’s paired with Dahlin and Power gets Joker or Samuelsson?
I, for one, am shocked.
If there’s any chance of them moving Power they need to switch their roles immediately and see what happens to Byram.
I would give most kudos to Forton, they were trying to move up to get him 6 times ? and ended up not having to and getting him @ 28. I think we forget sometimes that Ostlund was the higher pick.Gotta give kuddos to Adams for drafting Kulich...Can't always be a hammer
This guy is going to be a difference maker on the ice. You can see he is something special.
His shot is so awesome and his release is so good.

After taking in the ceremony in person, I need to reemphasize this from earlier. Holy hell.Woof.
He's a beloved broadcaster and community asset who has been with the organization for 30 years. He's 4th all-time in games played here with 889.
What an absolute dog of a take.
Byram almost always plays better than Power simply because he puts in an effort to defend the front of the net. Every time we have a lead with Power on the ice he just lets people sit in front of the net with no contesting at all. Power is also 2 draft years behind him in development so its not surprising that he's just plain better than Power and that won't change unless Power man's up and starts being active in front of the net.Byram plays better than Power when he’s paired with Dahlin and Power gets Joker or Samuelsson?

Congrats, Rayzor. But who's responsible for the artwork, the woman who also did monkey Jesus?Haven’t made a GDT but thought for Rayzor it would be appropriate that I make this one with my screen name.
Hopefully the Sabres show half the fight Rob did during his time here in Buffalo.
Congratulations Rob Ray on an honor well deserved!!View attachment 970185
