such a nice dude that i was never sure if he was a canucks fan or just frequent poster here. as is evident from some of these other tributes from posters from seemingly every other forum.

may he rest easy

He loved hockey and instead of choosing to antagonize rivals, he loved the game more and would find common ground with any hockey fan. He loved to frequent every teams boards not as a Canuck fan but just as a hockey fan. While he was a Canuck fan, but he was definitely more a hockey fan. I want to carry that forward.

Yeah thats the tough part. I am running out of time toooo. And so sorry my dad never got to see a cup. He passed in 04. He was a Canucks season ticket holder his entire life. Well the Canucks entire life. And his voice could be heard al over the coliseum. his voice carried. Sorry I couldn't afford to carry the 4 tickets (best seats in the house. Well both houses.) Anyhow still have 2 seats in my name. Fortunately have well off friends.

Damn I am going to miss GP.

Ginger Papa was legitimately one of the nicest the most positive people I have ever had a pleasure to interact with on here.

Even through direct messages, we have had amazing conversations, truly one of a kind, he’s gonna be greatly missed, it’s hard to believe.

Always messaging people, always liking so many posts, all the memes, everything about him, he was the definition about the best things about social media, class act, I can’t say enough good things about him.

Yeah, my dad's voice is nuts. He never raised a finger to me, and never had to because his yell alone could make me piss my pants lol. Great man, still is, I'd like to have known his dad more than I did. Didn't care much for sports.

Omigod no!!!!! Like many here, my interactions with him (in this forum or in DM) were always cordial, kind and positive. I don’t often post here (mainly lurk) but GingerPapa was always one of the best posters.
Life can be so cruel and unfair. I hope there truly is a heaven and that he’s loving it there.
