RIP Borje

So sad he's gone.
Thankfully we got one last chance to pay tribute to a legend.
 
Wow, terrible news. Honoured to be able to have seen his celebration just the other week. RIP.

Never got to see him play, but this is a major loss to the Maple Leafs community. Pioneer for the Swedes. We have him to thank for all the amazing Swedish players we've got to watch over the years. So happy he got a final send off the other week.

Lets win the cup for Borje!!!

I only wish I had appreciated now what I didn't then when I saw him in his twilight. The older Leaf fans admired him so much, similar to how my generation viewed Wendel and my friends and I couldn't understand why since we all missed him in his prime (though he still was fearless in blocking slapshots).

As I am older and more educated about the game and its history, I fully understand why he had such an impact. If Leafs today could have a player who gave only half of what he gave, the courage that oozed from him.
