Y’all gonna hate me again for saying it lmao, but its another survive and grind it out night. I want to see a slow first period so they have gas left in the tank for the rest of the gm.

Also need a god tier Markstrom game so we can win with little goal support

I want to see them come out hot. They had 3 days off wirh no games. It really doesn't matter unless you get the goals though.

They just need to flat out win. Even if they get outplayed and don't necessarily "deserve it". All that matters is getting the 2 points and something build off of.

I live in Rochester proper, up at the north end of South Wedge.

Only been back here for a couple years (I grew up in NJ, hence the fandom) but my family has very old roots in the area. Father was born here, grandfather and grandmother were born and raised here, and most of my great grandparents too. there’s a variety of cousins spread out in the vast emptiness between Rochester and Syracuse, as well.

Yeah why I wasn't 100% sold tonight is the slump buster. I wasn't sure just two days was going to be the difference between them being sick and healthy.

They got to find a way to gut this out

Holy S**T! The South Wedge was my stomping grounds. Went to #13 and then #24 elementary school and then on to Monroe high school. Skated at the Highland park Lily Pond every winter and played little league at the ball park facility there.

The Highland Park Bowl was a good spot to meet girls at the summer concerts and operas held there.

I had a file the size of an encyclopedia at the Highland Hospital emergency room. Our neighborhood playing field was the street or the "LOT" as it was known in the neighborhood. A fire burned down a bunch of old homes and the "LOT" was formed when the city bulldozed the site. It was full of rocks, busted glass, cement chunks, and crap dirt. It was softball diamond, football field, and hockey rink as the seasons changed. It backed up against a casket company with a nice blacktop parking lot which got plowed in the winter and made a fantastic "road hockey" facility at night. That parking lot was also lit up with their anti crime flood lights. Injuries were a fact of life in that neighborhood.

Met my wife to be when she moved into a home right up the street from the "Lot" when we were 13. That's a long story, but I told the boys when I first saw her that I was going to "marry that girl" and got my balls busted big time. They all attended the wedding 8 years later. 52 years later and I'm still on a high.

Nice to meet you neighbor! Maybe a neighbor?

Boston been struggling lately in terms of their quality of play. But scored well above what they should the last 3 gms (17 goals). Hopefully they are due for a regress. Need a W here
