Their inability to finish is definitely an issue but that's an easier fix than actually not being able to control play and generate

I don't know if it's really something we can fix this year. I think it just comes down to their fortunes changing. The stars are not good finishers. The depth has no talent. I don't think some deadline add magically turns the team into being able to finish. Until the pucks start to go in it's a bad 5v5 offense and mediocre overall offense.

It's not a this year fix but again it's not like their top 6 is getting caved into the ground and they're scoring off of some bullshit, that's less sustainable than what we're saying.

If they get their heads out of their asses then I think it's a lot easier to weather Markstrom than Jack. This team has been a defensive force. This team without Jack would be like a bottom 5 offense in the league.
