Fun story. Okay depth piece. We have a lot of guys under contract on defense that will be destined for Chicago. Wonder if they might flip anybody for a similar level forward.

Stillman and Commodore were traded to Florida in 2008 for Patrick Eaves and Joe Corvo
In 2011 Stillman was traded back to the Canes from Florida for Ryan Carter and a 5th round pick

I remember coaching Squirts way back when Riley played up at that level as a 5 or 6 year old. I didn't coach him, but saw a lot of him at shared practices and games. Great kid and really talented even back then. Cory was a super nice guy as well.
A signing that will make Chicago happy. Roster will now have a mix of older statesmen along with high quality youth.

Not saying Stillman will blow up but this was the general consensus when Noesan was signed also. "Emergency call up, AHL forward ect. Ect.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, just that without injuries he’s gotta beat out Slavin, Orlov and Ghost for a job. Ty Smith he should be able to handle. Noesen just needed to win a forward spot, and when he scored 50 goals we said we were going to give him a chance with the big team.
If he plays well and Nikishin struggles or doesn’t show next year?
