What sucks about the NHL is that Reilly still has to sit while waiting on the appeal, unlike MLB where they can keep playing while waiting on the verdict of the appeal.

The video of the assault with a weapon and 1 game suspension was far worse than Rielly cross checking his arm and it accidentally riding up to his head.

IMHO, 5 games is better than 6, however 2 games should have been more than enough considering all the factors.

This league goes after Leaf players all too hard. Too bad the SBA isn't almost empty tonight.

Slew foot done against a Leaf player gets a 0 suspension and no penalty, and our Leaf player is out of commission for nearly 2 months.
