I have questions. He seems to be playing on the right side, but is a left shot. Why? How come he hasn't been put at center on the third line yet? Pinto isn't doing anything there.

Greig is such a disappointment because pest players are always so good when their details are tight, they don’t take bad penalties, they don’t retaliate, they show up opportune moments. Greig not getting any of that done and he provides no fire.

Emotionless is how I’d describe his game

He's been so shite his trade value is night and day from last year.

Like do anything, even a shit disturbing move like what he did against TML last year.

Green’s usage of Greig has been baffling.

He’s a natural center who played his best hockey there last year, with Giroux. Give him a try there to shake things up since Pinto is struggling?

Nah.

How about on left wing, since he’s a left shot and also has experience playing there?

Nah.

Let’s play him in a position he’s never played and keep him there for 20 games even though he’s clearly not getting anything done to really burst his confidence.

Even when Pinto was hurt they didn’t put him at centre, they used Ostapchuk instead.

I really think they just don’t see him having a future there due to the guys in front of him so they’re trying to get him comfortable at wing.

I expect him to be traded for defensive help this summer honestly.

Also doesn’t provide any offense.

It’s funny because outside of Stützle, the guy in front of him (Pinto) has done jack shit to guarantee himself that spot for the future.

Why not try him, a right shot, at right wing instead? He’s played there for the Americans at multiple tournaments.

It’d be one thing if we were winning and Pinto was playing well. But we’re losing and he’s as been as bad as Colin White was at his worst.

This org even pre-Green seems reluctant to play their centers on the wing, really Greig is the exception.

I personally think both Norris and Pinto are better suited as centres, but even down a goal to try and stack the offense we’ve never seen them move one of them to wing to see if they can generate more chances. And I don’t see why not since we’re weak on the wing.

Greig's primary issue is the same as every other depth forward on our team - he can't generate any offense. I swear to God we have a third and fourth line now comprised entirely of Dylan Gambrell clones. Now, Pinto finally showed some signs of life out there last night but as for the rest of them - yikes. There isn't a team in the league getting as little out of their bottom six as we are from ours. To me, Greig should have been parked in the press box after that awful outing he had against LA, but apparently we lack the depth, or spine, to take action like that...

Saw him straight leg it for a line chnage on the road in the first period like his 2nd shift of the game and I thought - “Jesus, players that haven’t even established their careers are coasting on line changes in Ottawa at game 20 on the road.’ Sad state of affairs
