Rick Tocchet not returning to the Canucks

The cool thing about facts is that it doesn't matter if you believe them or not.
Also if one of the years cant count (because bubble) then itd be 1 time in 9 years... because if you add the 11th year to make it 10 then its 2/10... Which isnt impressive at all but still at least be consistent with ones own stated rules XD.

Really hoping they dont hire Woodcroft or Bylsma... Super ready to be disappointed with whomever they hire since there arent a ton of great options and the Canucks would not be a prime destination among the teams available.

Frankly, I think it's pretty much irrelevant to Vancouver fans whether or not he's a good coach. There are far bigger things at stake here. What kind of a message does this send to the fanbase, if Tocchet doesn't want to come back? What kind of a message does it send to Quinn Hughes?
It seems JR and Alvin knew Tocchet might be temporary. There is a reason why he signed for 2 years. It was known that he might move back east, nothing to do with Canucks.

They arent trading nurse so its way easier to trade EP40. One bad season is not a deal breaker unlike Nurse with that contract.
I don't know why people still bring up Nurse's contract. It's only awful if they're wanting to trade him, and they aren't. Nurse had a great season for him, and is worth what he was paid this year. Much like last year, there will be far worse contracts signed on July 1 than Nurse's deal. Not that Nurse has an bearing at all on EP40. His contract isn't one I would call bad, but if they were wanting to move him, any GM interested would know that its an incredible gamble to take him on with his regression the past two seasons.

Toccs agent went on one of the Vancouver shows. And he said there has been no talks or anything with Philly. Yeah right.

As if Tocchet and his agent turned down 25 million dollars without knowing if Tocc can be part of the plans. His agent is from Philly
Like common

The only reason Tocc would turn down the 25 million is if he had 25 million lined up somewhere else. Maybe it is Pittsburgh then. But it is somewhere

Ha HA HA this keeps getting better and better. Calling out your captain publicly is such a VAN move. And Quinn not calling him back lol.
You are still here ? Caps lock and all. I am flattered by the energy you have for the Vancouver Canucks.

they offered him something that would have made him one of the highest paid coaches in the nhl and he decided to move on. Let’s just respect that decision. They’re are other coaches out there. Let’s move on. A lot of teams would have also canned their coach have their team missed the playoffs. Again this was a tocchet decision.
