He prefers possession and high danger shots/tips/redirects which is hard to do consistently. That’s why Canucks were repeatedly outshot. Just his style.

Delusional. Canucks are going to go backwards next year. They already did a big somersault backwards off of a cliff this year after everybody predicted it from the 1/2 year PDO bender.

Well, considering they desperately want a babysitter for him to make sure he actually works out in the summer, I would doubt it.

This guy looked like a 2nd liner at best. He had one 100pt year

You can keep the excuses going if you like, but if you watch the Canucks play, it’s nothing but regressive, chip and chase 2000s hockey and Quinn Hughes being f***ing amazing at hockey. So much offensive zone possession was just Quinn doing it himself.
