Brooks is a journalist in an AFAIK quite sensationalist newspaper. Bad news are good news. He's doing his job, and quite successfully so, as it seems.

Avery is not even comparable to Marchand. Certainly not as bad as broons fans defending Marchand's antics, ie lowbridge, dives, etc.

Got that right Marchand Leads nhl in shooting percentage and scored 28 goals last year.:handclap:

I will never deny Marchand is an edgy lil ****, dirty is a label he can also tagged with. But he is one seriously beautiful lilttle ball of Hate that like Lucic many teams would love to have. He began as a 4th liner and forced the Bruins into giving him more ice time by busting his ass and being effective. Sound like something Ranger fans would want?:sarcasm:
 
Actually, what I find most detestable about Marchand, were those pictures of him with his shirt off celebrating in a Halifax bar.

I wish I could forget that I saw them...

Don't know if it was posted and I don't know how legit the claim is but I figured I would throw it into discussions.
 
Marchand is dirty.

I would take 6 Marchand type players for the 2nd and 3rd lines.

You can describe him as dirty....or you can also describe him as a very good and underrated player.

Love the way he plays the game.
 
Would cut off my arm and hand it to Sather if he could get Lucic and Marchand on the Rangers. At least those guys have a pulse.

Considering it seems the site has this "source" censored i would say take it wtih a grain of salt.

Torts wouldn't know what to do with them.

They play a style that Torts dispises.

They would not last long here as long as Torts remains coach.
