I hope Rick Nash opens up tonight! I realyl do, but I need to ask this question for the defenders in this thread:

Let's say Rick Nash continues to play as hard as you've argued he has, but he only scores 2-3 goals, and we don't drink from the cup.

Would you be happy with him and his effort?

Would we be looking for some changes? Could we even make those changes?

These are my main worries.

I need some food before the game.

Check ya'll in the GDT. LGR!

I have to say this is spot on. I'm a season ticket holder now for seven years, I spent my life on the ice. This whole "box score watching" crap is just the last line of defense cornered animal insult.

To be clear, I was saying that the discussion is one about quality of play and it has to do with watching the games rather than reading the box scores. I wasn't accusing anyone of not watching the games, but rather saying that's where the differences stem from.

I hope Nash gets it going, in the box score as well as on the ice, starting tonight. His line has been quiet on the scoresheet for 3 games now. That isn't a long-term recipe for success. We've just seen a team win the Cup, last year, with one of their key offensive cogs having an absolutely awful playoffs in terms of numbers. I don't think we are that lucky as Rangers fans.
