Don't get why people hate RHP so much. He's a good bottom 6er. He's the type of player that actually moves the needle at a very cheap cap.

RHP is not a center but he'd bring more energy than Dvo at the very least. Not to beat a dead horse but he looks so uninspired out there, even the pez would be better

Hopefully both he and Dvo are gone sooner than later. I'd rather see RHP, Pez or Roy than these two bums

Both Farrell and Kidney are barely AHL player. They will both end up in Europe in 2026. RHP is a fringe NHL player. He can still help Laval or play with us (if we have injury).

I have more faith in Kidney’s upside than most here. My opinion about Farrell has been well stated in my post game comments addressing our prospects and suspects in Laval. The fact is, that if the future success of the team is to any degree dependent on the upward development of either Farrell or RHP we’re in trouble. The future success of the team rests on the projected development of Hutson, Demidov, Hage, Beck, Engstrom, Mailloux, Tuch, and the Xhekaj brothers. They’re the future. The Farrells and RHP level players will never be more than a sideshow.

He got a real extended life after that run he had a couple years ago after getting called up.

I just don't see an NHL caliber player in him though, and even if I'm wrong, I doubt he can stay healthy at this level for long regardless.

That is debatable. If we can get 1st season buzzsaw RHP, I think he would be more beneficent than contract year Armia.

That's because he isn't. He is An AHLer and should stay there. How do you dress him before Pez who's everyone seem to have forgotten about?

I agree there's no place for him in the lineup. Yet I don't like that players immediately lose roster spots due to injuries. I would give him a few games once he's ready. Then send him back down if ineffective. It's good organizational practice that leads to improved recruitment opportunities. We would not have Laine, nor even Monahan, without a good culture in place.

You're right about the need for a good culture, but I actually think that it's a GOOD sign when someone falls out of the lineup due to injury and their replacements' play would make the returning-from-injury player a downgrade on team performance if the coach put them straight back in.

So if the plan is to call him up after his stint, send Condotta down and move Dach back to centre, then when Laine is back, send RHP BACK down, why not keep him down in Laval in the first place? Barring injuries or trades, RHP isn’t bumping anyone from the lineup. Why not just keep Condotta up until Laine returns, which seems to be soon?
I really don’t understand why they keep giving RHP opportunities. He totally stopped playing his game last year and was invisible for most of it.
