You are correct. Unfortunately it had four names on it and they are all gone. We might have to pick this up tomorrow. Nevertheless, it was encouraging run at the end. Hopefully we can keep that going tomorrow. We'll start the clock again at 9:00 AM PST / 12:00 EST, though feel free to post during the night if your turn comes up.
 
By the way, the draft board is now up to date. (Minus Tom's name change, but I have to go play hockey now so I'll get to that later)
 
I just changed the draft board to an image link, so that when you click on it you can get the full size image. If this in some way screws things up for anybody, let me know and we can go back to the other way.

We have our first entry in the "Better Late Than Never Department". :laugh: BOTFC will select Adrian Kempe with the 1st (yet 13th) pick of the draft!

We are still waiting for the reappearance of nabby12, but we'll hold here and wait for him for a bit. His clock officially starts at 9:00 PST/Noon EST and ends at 1:00 PST/4:00 EST. If he STILL hasn't made a selection at that point, that spot in the draft will be handed over to FLaMeRss, who can then make two picks to catch up to everyone else.
 
But what if he doesn't pick and then flamerrs comes on the clock, it could be another 4 hours without a selection. I'd give him the clock and if the replacement comes in and makes a selection for him. Too bad, it's his spot now. He knew the start date of the draft and despite where he picks to not log in for an entire calendar day?

I'll have FLaMeRss send me some picks or at least make sure he's ready to draft at that time. I definitely would rather avoid starting the day with another 8 hour, double timeout.

Sounds fair to me. I was also just trying to suggest something that like you said avoids a 8 hour lull
 
Sounds like the right decision to me. This seems to be the same underlying factor to the drafting demise of this pool every year haha
 
I don't think his time limit is up but I am obviously in favor of just giving flamers the spot and going forward.

IIRC this happened commonly last year.
 
Hmmm...interesting. Okay, FLaMeRss did jump the gun a little bit. Here are my thoughts:

nabby12 has been with us the past two drafts, so I definitely want to give him his full opportunity BUT, I also want to keep this thing moving, so what we'll do is give FLaMeRss his two picks on a provisional basis and move on with the next picks that belong to Bottomofthefoodchain. They are Adam Erne, and Lucas Wallmark. That brings us back to FLaMeRss for another pick. HOWEVER, if nabby12 comes back here before his clock officially runs out in under two hours, he still gets the spot and can make his three picks to catch up. FLaMeRss and his picks won't become official until 1:00 PST/4:00 EST, and won't be put on the draft board until that time. Got all that? There'll be a test after. :laugh:

Okay then, back to you for another selection FLaMeRss!
 
nabby12 has officially timed out of his turn and unfortunately the entire pool. With that said, I would like to officially welcome FLaMeRss to the Statsy Pool! His first two picks are now official and he is now on the clock for his next one. I will also update the draft board.
