By the way, there's an important game on the schedule today for the Predictor. For the most part, the bulk of our contestants generally have felt the same way about almost all of the match-ups so far, so the standings are pretty close. Strangely, that even includes the Russia-Sweden contest that usually divides opinions equally. This time around pretty much everyone is picking Sweden for that one. The same can't be said for the Denmark/Czech Republic game, however. Things are almost evenly split with 8 people calling the Czech Republic to win, 6 picking Denmark, and two that missed the pick deadline. In other words, the outcome of that game is going to be a big swing in some people's favour, and for others not so much.

The penultimate day of round robin competition is typically a quiet one with only two games, typically featuring the tourney's also-rans. That was the case this year as well, so there wasn't a lot of movement in the standings. Thank God for Canada's performance so far! I have been watching my guys and its been more than painful let me tell you. Czech's goalie is a siv and I might only have 1 freakin defensive point so far. If it weren't for Nic Petan I'd be a laughing stock...ok maybe I am already...I need a big day tomorrow for Canada and the US. I say...no goalies just to make it interesting...
