You can’t imo, to improve team you need cap space, can’t get cap space without moving assets. The good news is plenty of assets to be had and in doing so cap space will be acquired………

You’ve never heard coaches take subtle jabs when they come through Toronto?

While Matthews is a top 5 player in the game, you would never get a package like the one I proposed for Matthews alone. You're receiving possibly your top 2 centers for the next 10 years in Fantilli and Mctavish, plus you're getting a projected top pairing defenseman in return, not to mention, Adam Henrique who is still a very serviceable player

I know I wouldn't do that deal if I were the Ducks. I would drive AM to the airport and check his luggage for that deal to happen.

I would add on or maybe two of Shanny's kidneys and his pancreas to make that happen. I guess if AM actually said yes, I'll extend with the Ducks it could happen but I think a club isn't going to drop their pants for a guy that is just looking at signing deals to maximize his total contract earnings.
