That would be such a Benning move :D.

I can't see that not happening. It is just picture perfect.

From Elliottte Friedman's column today: http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/30-thoughts-will-nhl-walk-away-2018-olympics/

5. When Evander Kane returned to the lineup last week against Ottawa, attendance was high in the scouting section. Sometimes that happens when there’s a light schedule — there were only three games that night, so turnout is higher than normal. But there’s little doubt Kane will be watched closely, because the Sabres are willing to move him. So far, there hasn’t been an offer worth getting excited about, so unless Buffalo wants to do this for pennies on the dollar, it’s a waiting game.

6. Vancouver’s interest is well-known, but, again, I don’t think the Canucks have offered much.

Management has dug this team into a hole.

But the real problem lies in the fact that their plan to get out is keep digging till they reach the other side of earth.

It's called a sophomore slump, literally like 60% of good prospects go through it.

or he randomly had a great season last year and is no where close to as good as we think.

kane on the other hand is waiting to play somewhere fun no offence to buffalo and winnipeg and atlanta

How is this any *more* news than being on the front page of TSN yesterday?

hutton has regressed big time.

would take that deal and run especially with stecher and tryamkin

Kane has regressed much more than Hutton. Canucks history is littered with examples of where we quit on a player after one bad season only to regret it later. If Hutton doesn't improve next yeah then start worrying about him. He should only be playing third pairing minutes right now anyways but that is on Benning for dropping Hamhuis for nothing.

Atlanta has a way better nightlife than Vancouver, atleast in regards to reputation among pro-athletes. There is a reason why Atlanta is arguably the road trip NBA players are most excited for.

It's not Atlanta, its Magic City that they are excited for.
