It is stainless steel... for $25 it really isn't bad. I'd never wear the thing but it looks cool as a desk ornament.

Well if I am able to get my hands/fingers on one the only time I'd wear it would be during my annual "Canucks Elimination Bash" I throw every year once Vancouver is eliminated lol!

I'm going to try to visit the Team LA store this weekend to try and get both the ring/s and the DVD set.

We'll see if they have any left.

Well I hear tonight's game may be the last opportunity for Kings fans to get a replica ring due to supply shortage. I've posted in this thread before my desire to obtain one and my willingness to include "bonuses" for someone who can help me out. Not only would I pay the $25 and shipping costs to Canada, but I'd throw in one of the following
-UpperDeck young gun Kopitar RC
-UpperDeck young gun Doughty RC

Also I would add a Muzzin RC!! Lol

Thanks to anyone who can help out a fellow Kings fan ;)

Screw this replica garbage. Just get the real thing :sarcasm:

I bought 3 of them last night at Team LA. One for me, one for a friend and one to gouge. If you can't beat em join em!

I posted a picture of it on facebook and my sister(ducks fan) started going off on how stupid it was that they gave out rings to fans. i asked why she thought it was stupid but never got a response. obviously jealous since the Ducks didnt make rings for their 782 fans when they won the cup. now whenever i goto her house im gonna wear it just to troll her :D

I think they did give out rings to fans when they won...

If your looking for a good quality replica check out this site.

http://www.thechampionshiprings.com

I bought a flames one a month ago and it looks identical to the real deal (I worked with lanny for a few years and saw his several times and the replica is a close match)

Not sure if they will get the kings ones but my fingers are crossed as I would love a kings one to go with my flames one.

First, thanks for this link...the rings on here look very close. Not sure what metal to choose yet but I'm sure I'll have time to figure that out.

Kings teamed up with Tiffany's to throw a bunch of stuff together, including a non-diamond studded replica of the ring for $1000 (ouch): http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/ite...p+2-c+2467043-r+-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t&fromgrid=1

It is the same ring without the gems though.

Second,
I wish it was the same ring...I'd be plunkin' my money down already.

The front, which is the only angle they show, looks nothing like the real one.
The real ring has a concave bezel with gems surrounding an oversized Cup with a Kings shield on it. The Tiffany one has no Cup and is a convex bezel. I think they just mean for it to be a token ring, a fan ring as they call it, and not a commemorative ring of this season.

Third, the official replica rings are down to $50 per on eBay. I got mine already but maybe in a couple more weeks or months they'll be down to $35, which is about what you would have to pay with taxe and shipping anyway.

I wish this was an item they made to carry year long.

Yah, I noticed prices have come back down to earth. Again, it's cool to have but where do you wear a fake ring to?
