The rings are not available online to my understanding. People who can't get to a TeamLA store only have Ebay to get them.

i sent them an email to ask, but their email system is apparently down. the entire team la setup is a fail when it comes to the customer service.

anyone putting together a group buy and willing to ship out the rings?

If you live in the US, you can probably call the Team LA Store location at Staples Center at (213) 742-7852 and they will ship to you. Someone from Team LA Store mentioned that on Facebook for the Commemorative Banners. Sucks for us Canadian fans though since they won't ship to Canada from the store, only from the web store. I found that out yesterday when I tried to order a commemorative replica of the Cup Champs banner.

Since I'm not really a basketball or soccer fan, I'm curious is the Team LA Store website as bad for their stuff too or is this strictly a Kings thing?

If anyone finds out if you can order a ring from their web department and it can be shipped to Canada, let me know as I want one.

King fans are becoming notorious for price gouging. Update-$85 on Ebay now, for a ring they got for free and is available in the store for $25.

People do this all day on Ebay and CL. A majority of the time people aren't dumb enough to fall for it but I did see a guy buy a guitar on Ebay once for $750 that sells brand new for $400. I couldn't believe it. I see people selling the same **** on Craigslist for over a year. I guess they are hoping the one day some idiot who doesn't have an internet box with google is going to come by and pay way too much for their stuff.

Ok I guess I'm kinda intrigued. I'd never wear a ring even if it were the real deal given to me by the team. But I do kinda want to get one for ornamental purposes. I'll have to walk down to Team LA and check them out.

If someone does I'd be in since the money goes to charity (tax write-off!) But I live in Minnesota so my access to the Team LA store is limited to online... Count me in if someone picks some up and is willing to ship them.

My only complaint is that the ring looks nothing like the actual Stanley Cup ring given to the players.

While I did notice this the first time, I didn't address it, but a couple points:

1. Good, since the players' rings should be something that is totally unique and to be given to the few dozen players/staff that made the Cup run happen.

2. Crappy, since they sort of billed this as a "replica" that was just like the real thing. A bit misleading in that respect but it is what it is.

If I walk down there at lunch, I'll try and buy a few and mail them out. I'll post here if I do get some and please don't send a million PM's to me in the mean time. :)
If You Or Anyone Else Gets An Extra One I'll Pay For Shipping To MI...Let Me Know And thanks

I think the ring looks very similar to the real one except they didn't put that Kings shield logo on.

This may be because they don't want 10,000 rings out there that could be mistaken for the real ones (In case someone tries to sell a replica as the real deal down the line).

You mean I can't take one to Vegas and go to Gold and Silver Pawn and see if I can dupe Chumlee into buying one?

Sure you could. He'd probably give you $10 for it since he knows he can sell it for at least $25. Though, he did buy a bunch of fake Rolexes for $20,000 or so once. So you never know, but you have to walk in there at like 2 AM.

If a fellow Kings fan is able to purchase one for me I'd be willing to not only pay the $25 US and shipping to Canada, but I'd throw in an Upper Deck doughty or Kopitar RC card! Feel free to PM me if someone can help out a fellow Kings fan ;)

I went to TEAMLA today at 12 to get another ring (I used my friends seats and he demanded the ring since it was his seat). They were really busy setting up all the lakers merch around the store (They now put up the hosting teams merch for every home game instead of sections of the store for each team).

There were a few others there buying multiple rings.

I asked them how many they had left and they looked behind the register and they had 2 boxes (100 each was marked on the box). One box was opened and they were grabbings rings from that box, so around 12 there were roughly 150 ish rings in the store. I THEN asked if and when they would be getting any more and they told me that those 2 boxes were the last 2 boxes and that once they were gone, they were gone.

A fellow LGKer updated the site at 520 today saying that he called his ticket rep and they said they were sold out. I can't verify this but really, why would his rep lie.

Good luck to all who venture to TEAMLA tomorrow, but it looks like Ebay is your only option.

Unless they decide to make more.

good thing i got there at 11 and got 2 of them. drove up from Lake Forest cuz O'Neil had mentioned that they were only available while supplies last. I saw the few boxes they had off to the side of the checkout counter and wondered if thats all they were gonna have. they might not be exact replicas but still pretty sweet.

I posted a picture of it on facebook and my sister(ducks fan) started going off on how stupid it was that they gave out rings to fans. i asked why she thought it was stupid but never got a response. obviously jealous since the Ducks didnt make rings for their 782 fans when they won the cup. now whenever i goto her house im gonna wear it just to troll her :D

Since these rings seem to be going pretty fast and may already be gone. Anyone got an extra one that they'd be willing to ship to Minnesota? I'll pay the cost of the ring and shipping if anyone has got got one.

They said they're getting more and will be in stock in time for tomorrow nights game. I'd be careful paying high prices, we've seen this before with mini bobble heads and other collectibles. Fans go insane when it first drops, have to have one, pay high prices and a year later they're worthless. Keep in mind, this is a $25 piece of costume jewelry .
