Repeat offenders should simply have the length of previous suspension added to whatever they decide for the current suspension. Call it the Rempe Rule, as the league shouldn't have any time for talentless hacks like him.

I‘d give him 10 games because obviously he doesn‘t get it.

I agree he doesn't "get it", but everyone should be treated the same when it comes to discipline.

We always say we want more consistency from the league.

Just because I feel like he's a lost cause doesn't mean I will advocate for him being handed 40 games for this particular incident.

Now, if he does receive the 10 games you're suggesting, I think it's a little too much, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.
