Derek MacKenzie: X (exactly half the needed points! :speechles)
Dominic Moore: X (apparently COL was one of the few places he didn't play)

Fell for the Ferraro trap (too unobvious), then got taken completely off guard on Gerber for CAR/OTT at the very end... thought he'd be pretty forgotten

Today’s is another (likely-deliberate) “there exists a player who fits all nine boxes” one.

I had a score of 0 after 7 shots... then 2% on Richer (no surprise there, knew he was a 50g scorer before going to NJD), and 4% on Housley (was really unsure of who besides the obvious would have 50+ assists for old Jets/Coyotes :eyeroll:)

Was going to punch myself for wasting Morrison there but it turns out he didn't have 50 either.

Forgot Jeremy Morin never played a game for CHI, and that you can't get the answers right when that's the case... :eyeroll:

On the plus side, my strategy of figuring a disproportionate number of people would pick Alexandre Picard for the CBJ 1st round pick because he's the most obscure player they've ever picked in the 1st round, and picking someone else who just moved around the league a lot actually worked! (0.7% for Picard 0.3% for John Moore :D)

Had to bend my rules a bit, but Berkhoel (props to the other 0.2% who got him) was a Hawks pick and Jiricek was picked with the Hawks' selection

Also, Bassen was 0.0% when I picked him, and he didn't show up in the list of picks, sooooo? Was I the only one who picked him?

I keep thinking Sean Pronger played for Ottawa because of that old joke about the expansion Sens ("They'll be great, they've got (Jody) Hull, (Sylvain) Turgeon and (Phil) Bourque!"), and apparently I get mixed up with Vancouver's (Steve) Kariya, (Fedor) Fedorov and (Sean) Pronger era! :help:

Hoooooo boy do I not know World Championships results, like, at all. 40+ playoff goals is tough too (good ol' Mule served me well there, but otherwise? :shakehead How does Daniel Sedin not have 40 career playoff goals? Oh and Bill Guerin? 39....... :banghead:)

I feel you. Nearly picked Guerin but had a feeling he wasn't at 40, so went with Hoss. Brassard - great pick didn't event wink of him as an option (didn't know he had WC Gold).

I also almost went with The Mule but I was more confident in Holmstrom.

Well, this went bad suddenly, yet very quickly...

First, I discovered that I got my mid-2010s Devils depth Dmen confused (Alex Urbom, when the guy who went to Tampa that I was thinking of was Matt Taormina...)

Then picked Radivojevich, for some reason thinking he played for Tampa... huh?

Then picked Dick Tarnstrom for the PIT 40 assists, because of that one year he led the team in scoring and had over 50 points.... only 36 were assists! 0 for 3! :pullhair:

And that's about where I said "the heck with this" and rounded out my grid with fairly obvious picks, or so I thought because I swung and missed on Nik Sundstrom for the MTL 40 assist box, forgot how bad he was for them, although it turns out, his career high was....... 39 assists, because of course! :biglaugh:

This might be my highest score ever?

For Scott Pellerin, I must have just confused which team expansion-claimed him (Wild not Thrashers)...

Thought Petr Buzek played for LA, but I think that comes from him being traded for Jeff Cowan, who would have actually been the pick here if my brain wasn't scrambled apparently...

Also thought Todd Krygier played for LA, but in this case, I think I mixed them up with Anaheim?
