today was hard as shit.
Actually managed 9/9 today, pretty quickly
think this one was a bit too easy.

Didn’t think it would happen this fastOne day they will have a “Canadian player”, or “goalie” for Carolina that Ayers can be selected for. I’ve seen both criteria’s used before, just need the stars to align
That is 100% why I didn't use Fukufuji, everyone remembers his name, filed away in their brains as "obscure goalie with a funny name". Similar reason I didn't use David Ayers, literally everyone was waiting for the chance...View attachment 735424
Really surprised that Fukufuji as a Kings goalie is more common than Bernier as a Canadian goalie. Guess everyone loves an answer to a trivia question.
Hmmm... has this game finally started to fold in on itself to the degree that a totally obvious choice like Radulov is picked by 0.4% of players?Habs legend Andreas Martinsen

I used Traverse tooHad a laugh from the BOS+MON square:
I used Patrick Traverse.
Circa trade deadline 2001, there was an overzealous Montreal fan who kept making Eric Weinrich trade threads. He kept expecting Weinrich to fetch top prospects, 1sts, etc. One thread in particular, he suggested that the Devils trade Alexander Mogilny (in the midst of a 43 goal season) for Weinrich.
Fan didn't quite understand that while Weinrich was playing 24-25 minutes a night for Montreal that he wouldn't be logging that sort of ice time for other clubs. Mix in that he was a 34 year old impending UFA. But the fan remained incredulous and maintained that he'd be "proven" right when Weinrich was traded for a huge bounty.
Then he was traded to Boston for forgettable 26 year old depth defenseman Patrick Traverse. We all had a good laugh that day.
