Jaylen Brown is a self-serving pc lawyer and pseudo intellectual troublemaker very much in the mould of Kyrie. I will miss the talent; I will not miss the attitude.
I didn't think Brown said anything bad. Would be interesting to hear what adversity he feels he has faced with starting his business or buying a house as that's the worst thing in there even if the twitter ran with other quotes. Boston does have a toxic fanbase in all sports, just need to see the reaction after any bad loss. A Philly fan was telling Brown he hopes he tears his acl. It's not exclusive to the three cities but Boston, Philly and New York feel like they pride themselves on being toxic.
Are you talking about the Philly fan wanting him to tear his acl or the business home quote? The Philly fan was after Abby Chin asked him if he enjoyed playing in crowds like Philly that nightI'd like to know the context of what this quote was from. What question was being asked. Or did he just randomly say this? I don't doubt that he sees and hears things.
Fair enough, but this guy is the middle of altercations, altercations with his teammates, withe fans and generally anyone who does not hold to pc beliefs. He goes looking for trouble even when there isn't any, or, at least at the worst time. It's also all for his ego and his aims once you strip it down. Are you talking about the Philly fan wanting him to tear his acl or the business home quote?
What has your experience been like as a Black professional athlete in Boston?
There’s multiple experiences: as an athlete, as a basketball player, as a regular civilian, as somebody who’s trying to start a business, as someone who’s trying to do things in the community.
There’s not a lot of room for people of color, Black entrepreneurs, to come in and start a business.
I think that my experience there has been not as fluid as I thought it would be.
What do you mean by that?
Even being an athlete, you would think that you’ve got a certain amount of influence to be able to have experiences, to be able to have some things that doors open a little bit easier. But even with me being who I am, trying to start a business, trying to buy a house, trying to do certain things, you run into some adversity.
To be fair, I am certain Tatum is struggling with his left arm injury and probably other injuries as well. However, I agree with your assessments 1000 percent. The team is not a contender and Joe is not much of a coach.Another game they lost, IMO, because the starting five were lazy—Overconfident as a starting five and as individuals. Stop being sloppy, give 100%, and play defense.
This is now a 3rd place team in the East. Philly won again. This is not a Championship Team Contender. They were in the first half but other team's got better and the Celtics let the press go to their heads especially Tatum who is not a MVP contender IMO.
Another pathetic game by the Celtics. Joe it is the final score that matters not they did great in a quarter.
On to the next question mark.
To be fair I think Tatum is soft and not a leader to rally behind for a championship. They should trade him now while he has top notch value. Jaylon Brown is the true leader of this team. If I were GM I’d first look to ship out the toxic Marcus Smart,,; then move Tatum if he doesn’t grasp the leadership role. He’s more concerned with having dinner with opposing players after the game than he is beating them on the courtTo be fair, I am certain Tatum is struggling with his left arm injury and probably other injuries as well. Brown will leave after next year anyway. As someone else around here likes to say, you can "book it."Whatever you get in return for Brown and Tatum won't be worth it. They're still young in terms of championship window. Sometimes you gotta just ride it out and keep taking cracks at the supporting cast.

I think a lot of what you say is true about Tatum. He is a kid on a glory run that maybe narcissistic. He is big regarding relationships with stars on other teams. I am not convinced that Brown is a leader of basketball, I do think he is into causes, black causes and why wouldn't he but getting his priorities straight might be a problem, basketball is #1 or should be. I think Marcus Smart is all about basketball and he gets frustrated with Brown & Tatum with their effort, sloppy ball handling at the wrong time, sloppy passing at the wrong time and leadership. To be fair I think Tatum is soft and not a leader to rally behind for a championship. Could you help me understand what this means? I get lots of laughs. " you don't miss?" thanksLOL you don't miss.
Glad to have some context to the situation. Thank you.Are you talking about the Philly fan wanting him to tear his acl or the business home quote? The Philly fan was after Abby Chin asked him if he enjoyed playing in crowds like Philly that night

I would hope Tatum grows up soon and can get serious about basketball. Early in his career Tatum had Kobe in his ear giving him tips.. he needs more of that killer instinct/ dedication Kobe had. Tatum oozes talent, kid just has game. But it doesn’t seem winning a championship is his top priority.I think a lot of what you say is true about Tatum.
