All fairly cheap bets too - none of these really hurt us going into the deadline, in terms of both cap and assets given up.I've been pretty happy with Stan's additions so far.
Emberson
Podkolzin
Dermott
Kapanen
Regula
Doesn't matter. Neither team played on the 10th so they had the same record on the 10th as they did on the 11th.
If what Tom is saying is true.
This will be a good test of our scouting. So we said No to Fabbro, but Yes to Regula. That's noteworthy and something we can track when it comes to the Bowman blame game.
Well Bouchard didn’t scout him… they just played together in Jr. More telling is Bowman wanted him at one point, and now wants him again, showing he knows the player.Fabbro was waived on the 9th, claimed on the 10th. I was on my phone earlier, didn't bother to look it up.
At the time that Fabbro was waived (2pm on the 9th), Oilers had a .464 win % and Cbus was at .500.
But if Regula is tied to Bouchard, I don't know if we put this solely on Bowman or our pro scouts.
Of course Bagdad Bob put a positive spin on an odd claim
Or maybe REE-GU-LAAA! I have no idea how his name is pronounced but I picture that ringing loudly through the Swiss Alps.Sounds like some kind of spaghetti sauce.
I mean how many people on this board had the name Emberson on their radar at the start of the season? I’ll remain positive about this acquisition until proven wrong. If what Tom is saying is true.

I as well. I remain open minded about the Bowman era until proven otherwise.I mean how many people on this board had the name Emberson on their radar at the start of the season? I’ll remain positive about this acquisition until proven wrong.
For that matter Kapanen has looked solid as a role player as well.I mean how many people on this board had the name Emberson on their radar at the start of the season? I’ll remain positive about this acquisition until proven wrong.
I am almost 100% certain that it's based on the percentage at the closing time (and date) of the waiver period that the order is calculated....BUT...I'll be damned if I can find out for sure. I did some google searching and couldn't come up with proof one way or another. Now it's really bugging me, lol.Fabbro was waived on the 9th, claimed on the 10th. Phil Kemp must be choked.
