Fabbro was waived on the 9th, claimed on the 10th. I was on my phone earlier, didn't bother to look it up.

At the time that Fabbro was waived (2pm on the 9th), Oilers had a .464 win % and Cbus was at .500.

If what Tom is saying is true.

This will be a good test of our scouting. So we said No to Fabbro, but Yes to Regula. That's noteworthy and something we can track when it comes to the Bowman blame game.

But if Regula is tied to Bouchard, I don't know if we put this solely on Bowman or our pro scouts.

Well Bouchard didn’t scout him… they just played together in Jr. More telling is Bowman wanted him at one point, and now wants him again, showing he knows the player.

Trying to get actual information on him is hard. He had a bad knee injury. Basically that is all I can really find out

I've seen this kid's name on roster sheets but can't ever remember his playing. Maybe that's a good thing. The proof will be in the pudding here.
I assume they will give him quite a few practices first or will they waive him to Bakersfield. He needs playing time to get his legs and wind back after surgery. Almost unfair to start his practices with the boys.

I am almost 100% certain that it's based on the percentage at the closing time (and date) of the waiver period that the order is calculated....BUT...I'll be damned if I can find out for sure. I did some google searching and couldn't come up with proof one way or another. Now it's really bugging me, lol.

Maybe not. There maybe something else in play. Lets see if Rebula is back on the waivers in 24 to 48 hours. Oilers have 8 D man on the NHL roster with this. IT might just be me but I think a few others agree. There might be something else in play or an injury that we do not know about
