This one is sure, he deserves his hype.

It would really take a sporting disaster or a moral issue for him not to be selected top 10.

In addition, the comparison with Brandt Clarke, of whom we have references in the Slovakian championship, facilitates the estimation.

But in a more ambitious way, he can challenge Marian Gaborik and become the Slovakian selected highest or tied.

He can go get Brad Lambert and Matthew Savoie who are clearly not at Shane Wright's level.

Ceiling: N ° 2
Floor: top 10
Most probably: top 5

Was really good today. 2 assists and was a +4. He’s now at 5 pts in 8 games and is a +11. His defensive play is significantly better this season than i saw even 4-5 months ago.

8 games, 6 points, + 11 (best +/- in the league)

He left as planned on a higher statistical basis than Brandt Clarke.

It is obvious that at the end of the season he will already be one of the best players in the Slovakian league and too strong for 2022/23.

There are many solutions for him: AHL or a European league with a better level.

I would see him playing in the Czech Republic. He always seemed to prefer geographic stability.

Probably depends a lot on the team that drafts him. Czech league would be a unique choice, I frankly doubt most NHL teams would be happy with that.

Yeah I would say AHL would be the best option for him next year. Physically he wouldn’t be out of place there. Unless major development happens I don’t think he will be NHL ready next season. But who knows, maybe he has a great rest of season and makes Olympic squad and shows himself

LA or Jersey would be a great fit for him.
Huh? Jersey prospect cupboard is completely stacked on D plus they have Hamilton and possibly Severson signed long term. Kings just picked Clarke so RD is literally the least of their concerns. What are you smoking? You could have just pulled two teams out of the hat randomly and would have better fits.

For LA my thinking was to have a replacement ready once Doughty is done and to have more depth besides Clarke.

For Jersey I didn't account for Severson tbh. I had though he had stalled.

NJ biggest need is a (RH)D who can play elite defense. If that sounds like Nemec then he would be a great fit. If it doesn't then there's no fit.

You want a team that would be a great fit?
Would be a perfect fit for the Canucks. Our right side D depth is:
Myers, Poolman, Burroughs, Hamonic (?), Schenn, Woo
We're not likely to pick as high as Nemec goes though. Could also see us trading our 1st rounder for immediate help anyway.

Nemec and Jirieck are two favorite Dman for this draft and I would be estatic if we could somehow get 1 of them. But I dont think we will be drafting high enough to select them

Any team could use a player that can play elite defense, that's not what determines the fit. Most teams don't have a 9 million guy in front of him on the depth chart, unlike NJ.

If the Devil's get Nemec then sign Subban for 3 years at 3 mil per year, Nemec then spends a year in Europe. Subban would be a good stop gap for two more years.
